And I am so far away from Brazil.... but meanwhile, my "nestlings" are doing well at the Brazilian Ornithology Congress, occurring in Espírito Santo. Much pride and happiness seeing my students, ex-students and post-docs participating in the Brazilian scientific community with such competence and expertise!

Having received a Senior Scholarship for Foreign Intership by CNPq, my husband and I moved to the small city of Ithaca, NY, to work with my collaborator at Cornell University, Dr. Michael Webster. Mid February, two Lab events to announce!

Felipe Brito is the newest Master's graduate of the Animal Behavior Lab, as he calmly defended his thesis on February 18! Now the journey continues, lots of luck along the way!
